Sports odds API comparison.

Most odds APIs deliver each bookmaker’s odds. Turning them into a price you can trade on is left to you: removing the vig, combining the books, and knowing when to trust the price.

HalfPoint aims to offer premium risk signals and consensus prices at a much more affordable price than the incumbent premium providers (Sportradar and Genius Sports), but on more limited markets and with scores from public feeds rather than a licensed low-latency feed. See how fast our consensus reprices. Here is how HalfPoint compares with the providers developers ask about most.

From each provider’s public website and documentation, checked 7 November 2026. No means we did not find it there (for Sportradar and Genius Sports, also not in the feeds we subscribed to). Price: $ self-serve plans from under USD 100 a month, $$ self-serve plans from about USD 300 a month, $$$ an enterprise data contract priced on request, $$$$ enterprise data and trading services priced on request. What sets HalfPoint apart

A de-vigged, modeled consensus is the price. The risk signals say when and how much to trust it: a bet-stop tells market makers to widen or pull quotes the moment something happens that can be front-run, such as a score, and the consensus range shows how far the market agrees on the price. Among the providers above, only the premium incumbents offer a bet stop; with HalfPoint it is a monthly plan.

Sportradar and Genius Sports model the game: their trading models simulate the event from live data and produce their own outcome probabilities. HalfPoint models the market: each venue’s quote is an uncertain estimate of the true market odds, and our model estimates the latent market-implied probability, with a range that says how far to trust it.

Fixtures never disappear silently: a postponed or cancelled game keeps its status and history, and a replacement game is linked to the original. Each outcome is graded for settlement once independent evidence agrees.

When another provider fits better

If you need each sportsbook’s specific line, props, spreads and totals, an odds API such as The Odds API, SportsGameOdds, OddsPapi, OddsBlaze or OpticOdds covers them. If you run a sportsbook and want a managed trading service with configurable bet stops, or low-latency scores from a licensed provider, Sportradar and Genius Sports offer that under an enterprise contract.

The incumbent premium sports data providers, Genius Sports and Sportradar, are much more than odds API providers. First, they provide their own probability estimates for a multitude of markets. Second, they provide a bet-stop signal that is crucial for in-play traders, market makers, and exchanges that operate their proprietary trading. Last, they deliver official, low-latency scores under league data rights. HalfPoint gives you the first two, a modeled probability and a bet-stop, on fewer markets and at a much lower price.
